Students and staff are proud of the inclusive and diverse nature of the school community. We are a harmonious and welcoming school that works hard to ensure that all who are part of the school experience a sense of belonging and strong identity.

Community engagement is a strong feature of West Hill and partnerships with local schools and organisations are well established. Students are involved in a wide range of activities that support local and international charities.

The school community continues to promote understanding, inclusion and respect for others so that all pupils feel appreciated and enthused to make a success of their time at West Hill.

West Hill School was awarded Stonewall School Champion status in July 2017 as we work towards tackling and eliminating homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in all its forms.
