We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in a bid to the Department for Education Condition Improvement Fund, to improve the Fire compartmentation provision, as well as fire doors within school.  The total cost will be £475 000, which is in addition to the £750 000 project currently underway to improve the external and internal fabric of our school buildings.  We will have an update on the timeframe for the completion of this new project in due course, whilst the external works are on track to be completed ahead of the new academic year.

In addition, the plans for our new Library are all in place, with a completion date before the end of this term.  Boys will get some glimpses of this facility, over the next few weeks, an investment we believe will reap rewards for all our boys in the years to come.

This all represents a significant ongoing commitment in supporting a key element of our vision namely that; Every stakeholder will benefit from a continual focus on improving facilities.

Next Wednesday our Y9 footballers will be playing against Hurstmere School from North Kent in the U14 English Schools final .  It is a major achievement to get to this stage which will be played at the Hawthorns, the West Bromwich Albion Stadium, kick off 3.30pm.  For those unable to travel, there is to be a live broadcast of the game via YouTube, the details of which our PE staff will be sharing.  Follow their twitter account @WesthillPE as there will be a build up to the game, as well as possible updates during the game itself.
