Tameside libraries’ free online safety sessions for parents and carers are back by popular demand.
13 July 2017
Previous sessions have been well attended, with parents feeding back that it has helped them feel more in control, informed and able to talk to their children about staying safe.
The sessions, delivered by MadLab, start on the following dates:
|11th July 2017||6:30pm||Central Library, Ashton|
|18th September 2017||6:30pm||Hyde Town Hall|
|5th October 2017||6:30pm||Central Library Ashton|
There are two separate one hour sessions that parents, carers and youth workers can book onto. The first is an introduction to the dangers of being online and offers practical advice about online safety, while the second workshop will provide practical hands-on help with updating devices – such as mobile phones, tablets and laptops - with security settings.
