Visit of former West Hill pupils
10 July 2018
We were delighted to welcome into school a number of former pupils today. The visit, organised by Derek Oldham, on behalf of the Old Boys lasted just over two hours. The former pupils were able to view some of the school memorabilia and reminisce over the “happiest days of their life”. David Stanley was the oldest Old Boy, having joined West Hill in 1948.
Music was provided by Mr Wells and Mr Palmer and the old boys gave a moving rendition of the School Song. Tours of the School allowed them to visit their former classrooms and see how teaching styles and technology has moved on since their time at the school. What a wonderful morning! We look forward to seeing you again next year.
