Barcelona Trip 2024
Languages take a trip to Barcelona.
The languages department and thirteen of our year 8–10 students travelled to Barcelona for a 3-day experience.
Day one consisted of taking a stroll along Las Ramblas and the Gaudi trail. The boys also had a stop at the Port of Barcelona.
On the second day of the trip, the group visited Montjuïc Castle, a castle situated at the top of Montjuïc hill as well as the Sagrada Família — the world's largest unfinished Catholic Church; later, they explored the open-air museum Poble Español, and our boys also savoured a taste of Spain with lunch at La Boqueria Market.
The third and final day of the Barcelona trip featured what was the highlight of the trip for many of our boys: a visit to the immersive experience at Camp Nou! Whilst there, they learnt about the history of FC Barcelona and witnessed the new stadium being built.
A culturally rich, action-filled, wonderful trip with such delightful young men. ¡Hasta luego, España!
