Students are welcomed on site from 8.00am and can use the canteen facilities. West Hill School cannot be held responsible for students on site before this time. The library is open from 8:15am for private study and reading. 

The school day is structured around five lessons. Boys are expected to be in their form room by 8:35am, in preparation for registration at 8:40am. A morning break is scheduled for 11:00am, lasting 20 minutes, and lunch occurs during a forty-minute interval from 1:20pm to 2:00pm.

Themed Assemblies

Themed assemblies take place each week. These are designed to raise students' SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural) experiences and are often delivered by the boys and their teachers.

Appointments

The school day officially finishes at 2.55pm. We request that appointments to see any member of staff at the end of the school day should not be made until after 3.15pm.

Reception

The school reception is open during term time as follows:

Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm

Outside these hours, the school number diverts to voicemail.
