"Did you get the job?" A huge thank you to the@vodafoneuk Retail Risk Team who used their charity day to join us in school today to hold mock interviews for our Year 10 students. Boys of all abilities met employees, learnt about the company and were introduced to the career path opportunities available to them at Vodafone before preparing for, and taking part in, an interview situation as in real-life. Well done boys, you came across very well in what can be a challenging task for many! #getitdonetogether

Year 8 are running a 'fun run' in bright clothing to raise money for a fantastic charity - @younglivesvscancer. The run is in support of fellow Year 8 student, Jack, who was recently diagnosed with T Cell skin Lymphoma and is currently receiving treatment in Manchester Children's hospital. The run takes place on Thursday 17th July. Congratulations to the 15 Year 10 boys who successfully completed their Silver Qualifying expedition of their Duke of Edinburgh's Award at the weekend They coped admirably in tough weather conditions, navigating their way around the Edale and Kinder Scout areas A tiring but rewarding three days, demonstrating resilience, character, teamwork and self-motivation. Well done boys!

Year 10 take on college! Over the past two days, Year 10 have been experiencing life post-16 by sampling different courses and different colleges in order to help them decide what they may wish to study after West Hill School.
