Parent Handbook
The parent handbook is the go-to document for new parents to explore the way our school operates and the expectations we have of our students. There is also a useful common questions section at the back of the booklet.
Transition Day
Transition Day is scheduled for Thursday 4th July 2024.
During this day, students will be given the opportunity to meet their Form Tutor and experience the day-to-day running of the school. A letter outlining further details will be distributed closer to the time.
Summer Camp
The summer camp for our new Year 7 cohort will run from Monday 19th August until Wednesday 21st August 2024. It is free of charge; however, students will need to provide their own lunch.
Summer Camp Details
Thank you for enrolling your son into our summer camp programme. This letter details the key information that he will need.
Timings
Summer camp will run each day from 10am to 3.00pm with the exception of Wednesday 21st August, where we will finish at 2.00pm. Your son should not arrive on the school site before 9.45am. On Monday 19th August, he should go straight to the Sports Hall on arrival where he will join his form and be given information about where to register for each of the following days.
Clothing
Your son will be taking part in a wide range of activities including sports and outdoor sessions. He should be dressed in casual, comfortable clothes and have sportswear with him each day. He will need trainers and football boots with moulded studs. Please check the weather forecasts as wet weather clothes and/or sun cream and hats may be needed.
Lunch arrangements
Students need to bring their own packed lunch. They will also need a refillable water bottle which can be topped up during the day. He is welcome to bring extra snacks and drinks (preferably water; no fizzy drinks or energy drinks).

On the final day of summer camp, Wednesday 21st August, we will host an inter-form sporting competition. Parents/carers are welcome to come on site from 12.30pm to support their son(s).
Please note: There will be no parking or access to vehicles on the school site during these three days. Entrance to the school site is on foot only. The side gates will be open for access. Students will not be allowed to use their mobile phones during the day. They will be reminded to turn on their mobile phone at the end of each day.
